I am currently the Chief Executive of a Students' Union in the South West.
Immediately prior to taking on my current role, I served as a voluntary director of the North Yorkshire Credit Union for two years and as a governor at both Lady Lumley's and Pickering Infants School for two and four years respectively.
Previous to this, I represented the Pickering Division on North Yorkshire County Council for four years (the latter part as a member of the Council's Executive) up to June 2009; served as a member of North Yorkshire Police Authority, for three years until June 2008; on the North Yorkshire Board of the Probation Service, for six years until April 2007 and as a Special Constable, attached to a regular shift in Nottingham City Centre, for five years whilst at university.
